Question

Hello, i want to ask you about austerity from using chalk additive. I tried it once and did not see any financial sence, so can you explain how caco3 filler masterbatch helps to cut costs?

Answer

The question of economy is one of the main, along with quality products, so we couldn't ignore it. When it comes to the austerity, it is chalk additive is the main component.

The chalk additive allows to save, first of all, due to the fact that its value is approximately 2 times lower than the cost of basic polymer and, therefore, adding even a small amount reduces the cost of the product, the only question is by how much and whether to consider it as savings.

Unfortunately, the chalk Supplement is not a miracle powder, which reduces the cost by 2 times. But sometimes, saving of even 2-3% can be the deciding factor, for example, when a company goes on a big tender.

In addition, many engineers consider only the economic component, it does not take into account that using chalk additives they can increase the performance and reduce the number of marriage, this is especially noticeable in "casting".

Many of the technologists with whom we communicate have noticed that the significant increase in volumes of additives does not bring tangible savings since the performance of extruders decreases proportionally to the entered volumes, especially if we are talking about enter up to 15%. It is difficult to argue that the chalk additive can change the physical properties of the polymer and improve consumer properties.
